Should charging double for having to usevhis refrigerant and cant keep adding if its leaking
I hope you get the change out down the road.
Don't replace now, if you buy a brand new system it will have banned refrigerant in it. I'm telling everyone they need to wait as long as possible. I'll fix anything, I don't care how old it is.
@WW HVAC Yeah I hear it lol like you deaf sound like me on the job 😂😂😂😂
422 acts weird unless it has a txv. I couldn’t see if that was a piston or tx.
422b doesn’t act right without a txv. That homeowner is the main problem with that system.
🤣 This was my first time using 422b. Also, he said that when the R22 was low, it wasn't recovered but topped off with the 422...
Only $700 for the thermostat? My company charges $1640!
Trust me, I should have charged $1640 for the headache dealing with lennox
Know what hose I can use on the Milwaukee pack out wet vac that will Connect to the green part of the drain adapter? I’ve been having to shave it done for it to fit
I dont do Milwaukee, but hopefully, someone will read comments and advise.
Amen Walt… I don’t blame you for not wanting to mess around with that old stuff, replace or call somebody else
another reason not to do an evaporator only on r22 is that it uses mineral oil and newer 410a units use POE oil. They don't work well together and therefore better to do all at same time because it is hard to remove all the oil from the evaporator.
That's a good point to make to the customer.
Lol leaks never get smaller😂😂😂

Wow you Got Shit Eaters in Big Tex Too😂😂😂

My heat pump & furnace were installed in 1979 and are still going strong....thanks to the HVAC gods.
agreed.. however how's the energy bill ??
@@joshmason1725 - I can't complain. I live in a modest 1100 square foot home. Average electric bill is around $70 (current bill is $48). Average gas bill is around $40 (current bill $19). Thermostat is set at 68 in the winter and 76 in the summer. I live in a fairly mild climate.
I wonder how efficient your 1979 heat pump is? If you had replaced it in the mid-90s or between 2000 and 2019, it would likely have been more cost-efficient. However, it probably has sentimental value for you.
@@WWHVAC - Nah, no "sentimental value" for a heat pump or a furnace! Last year the heat pump needed a shot of refrigerant, which restored its performance. I have the furnace inspected every other year and it receives a clean bill of health. I do plan on replacing both units within the next couple of years.
I'll ride it until the wheels fall off. Good luck!
You need a battery operated vacuum
I've had every dewalt and Milwaukee battery operated vacuum they've made and I can tell with 100% confidence, that they don't compare to a 110v vacuum. Specifically the 5 gallon dewalt he has.
I have the dewalt battery-powered it comes in handy in tight situations or where there is no power. But the 110v is the way to go 4 sho
What wires did you jumped for the condenser to turn on?
Flex seal to the rescue
Idk about flex seal in this case
Iv owned one for about 3 to 5 years. Game changer. Works everytime
I've been using the battery powered, but this is a beast
Glad to see you still doing your thing💪💪🔥🔥
Thanks bro 💯
He had a ton of freon cylinders on the side of his house.
I must have missed that
I think those were propane tanks
@Eric-bj8yk Yes, I remember seeing propane tanks
Leaking evap coil. Just guessing.
Was that thing on fire?
I have a saying that a lot of people don't like but for me it's true. Poor and cheap people are bad for business. They always want to take shortcuts. They want you to install their Ebay and Amazon bought crap. I turn everyone one of them down. Some yell and scream. Curse me out and I just laugh and sometimes I egg them on. I tell them I can't give them a warranty and they all say that's OK but you know they don't really mean it. Some ask me to come out and just do it my way and they return their parts. 95% of my customers are great. It's the 5% that ruin the day.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. It's definitely a challenge to balance providing quality service with managing customer expectations, especially when it comes to installing parts from non-reputable sources. We always strive to prioritize quality and safety, which often means using trusted parts and equipment that we can stand behind. This helps ensure that we can provide reliable warranties and the best outcomes for our customers. It’s great to hear that the majority of your customers appreciate your professionalism and commitment to quality. Let's keep focusing on those positive experiences and delivering top-notch service!
Good educated response. I've witnessed you grow.
"Its not working so let me crank it up higher so its good and fucked".

Leak seal if the owner trying to save $ if you find a leak (Easy Seal) that will last until the compressor goes bad,
You should give an estimate for change out so that your viewers can learn. I did a complete change out of my system and the savings on my power bill was huge.
I'm sure his bill is summer high!
Wow he got his own refrigerant. Well well he definitely trying to save big money. But he may have to replace it.
DIYers have everything!
@@WWHVAC that's a fact they do.
I would do the same thing, replace the coil and AC unit, if he doesn’t want to do that, he can get someone else to do it his way, I’ve created more issues for myself trying to help ppl keep their system going doing shortcuts, instead of condemning the system
Same here!
@6:24 The system is Already open.. that’s why there isn’t any refrigerant in it… I’d go over all the benefits that come with a new system & keep it moving
Good point!
Bottom line Sir you can polish turd all day long and make shine, but at the end of the day you still have a turd
"That's what I should have said"
Can travel the country for weeks but can’t fix his AC🤣

bro u married? maybe she wanted you to ask her on a date😂
Totally neglected… totally expected failure.
gotta wear gloves bro.. no cuts.. dirt... ac freeze burns...seen gloves at the end... lennox charge charts never correct
lennox worst leakers in America
not approved? prob a good quote imo. win them all then your 2 cheap
Much respect for showing the pricing.
Lol i get off work to watch more HVAC shit 😂 im addicted. Great work homie 🥃🥃
Thanks for watching 🍻
Lol that motor fought a good fight but you'd pass out to tryna run a mile breathing through a straw 😂 that shock explanation always help rely the importance of the filter and condenser cleanliness to the non HVAC ears
Me personally would rather use the micron gauge rather than vacuum pump gauge. I like the method of pulling the vacuum from one side of system like the suction line, and hooking up my micron gauge to the other side the liquid to get a reading of the full system. But at the same time that’s an expensive vacuum pump so you want it to work. I don’t blame you.
I agree with your setup. The Micron Gauge on the vacuum is an additional tool that allows you to see that the pump is working and pulling down.
Why have a vacuum pump with a built-in vacuum gauge and other pseudo electronically useful things. Elitech is, in my opinion, one of the most generic brands for HVACR. Why not invest completely in well-known brands? I have had a CPS vacuum pump for more than 4 years and it has never had a failure. obviously carrying out all its maintenance on time and keeping it in a hard box for transportation inside the van. cheap is expensive!
Thank you for sharing your experience with CPS vacuum pumps! It's great to hear about your positive results. Elitech offers unique advantages, like built-in vacuum gauges and other electronic features that streamline workflow and reduce the need for additional tools. These features ensure you can see that it's effectively pulling a vacuum, providing real-time feedback on performance. They also provide a cost-effective option for reliable equipment, ideal for those starting out or expanding their toolkit without breaking the bank. While CPS and other well-known brands are excellent, Elitech's innovation, convenience, and affordability make them a competitive choice for many HVACR professionals.
@@WWHVAC This is the most intelligent and respectful response of all in life. much success!!❤
I require half down for big jobs or installs. I've been fighting over price, had to chop off some money just so we could secure a warranty coil replacement. She still asked if we could lower it. Sadly i live in an area where people live outside their means. Always hated residential for this purpose. Tis why I'm working for the "A" license in Florida so I can get more commercial work. Less fighting there
I've learned over time that when customers persistently try to negotiate down your prices, it's often best to take your services elsewhere. Here are some red flags to watch out for: Constant Haggling: If a customer continuously tries to bargain despite already receiving a fair quote, it might indicate they don’t value your expertise and quality of work. Comparing Unfairly: When customers compare your detailed, professional services with cheaper, lower-quality alternatives to justify a price reduction. Ignoring Value: If a customer overlooks the value and benefits your services provide and focuses solely on the cost. Unrealistic Expectations: Expecting premium services at a bargain price can lead to dissatisfaction and disputes down the line. Disrespect for Professionalism: A lack of respect for your professional assessment and the market rates you've established. In these situations, it’s often better to move on and find clients who appreciate the quality and value of your services.
Have you ever got stiffed out money from a customer and do you require 50 percent deposit on all your jobs?
Thanks for your comment! I'm starting to ask for a deposit for jobs over $500 or when dealing with a red-flagged customer. While 99% of customers pay, I have been taken advantage of before.
People are just lazy and that was unacceptable. Bet the rest of the home just as nasty including themselves.

@@WWHVAC Preciate it my guy!!! I watch all your vids erday when I'm done with work 4 the Night!!!
Mannn I don’t now about Elitech…. First product from them and it lasted like a month and half. Try not to judge companies off of one product, but it definitely made me not wanna buy more from them
What was the product?
@@WWHVAC the wireless PT800&PT500. They making it right but it’s been a pain contacting customer service. And not to impressed with the gauges almost thought about refunding them
I purchased them a long time ago and was disappointed. They are improving, so hopefully, they will improve that product in the future.
Its not Elitech...WW HVAC damaged it. He was trying to repair it.
@@dkinfishingwhat is the issue you are having with the gauges?
OEM motor or not. You better throw a motor in there and make money. I would have picked up filters and a motor and made money.
Get that money!
How many cfm? Whats the maximum vaccum reached?
This is a 12 cfm pump and pulls down to 15 microns. Also available is a 7 crm and 9 cfm.
